The Results are in

Tommy and I went to see the specialist who explained that the biopsies have shown that there is still cancer in my right breast, so he has booked me in to have a mastectomy and some more lymph glands removed next Wednesday. I will probably have to stay in hospital for a few days.

Got really emotional today at the petrol station,
don't know why, just started filling up

  5. Ah, that is disappointing news and I'm very sorry to hear it. You're right, Paula, you will need to rest and get your strength back. Partly the effects of the general anaesthetic can leave you so tired out and then feeling very emotional so, if you are given the choice, I honestly do recommend you stay in hospital and rest for a few days. I recall trying to do everything again, a bit too early after my own op, and wondering why I then felt utterly floored with exhaustion. Take care and sending you a virtual hug. If you are up to receiving a visitor, let me know as I'd love to see you (I know family visits need to be the priority!) Helen, Chaz and Lily xxxx
